Brian brought home our cows this afternoon. I had expected 3, but he came home with 6 (I know that's a real shocker for most of you). :)
They are Lowline Angus. We got 3 for eating and 3 for breeding. The three for eating are two steers and a heifer. The other three heifers are for breeding. Brian is planning on going back in a week or so to get a bull.
Here is the donkey (I think we've decided on the name Cookie) checking out her new neighbors through the fence.
As we went through the gate, Reed got out to shut it behind us... it just hit me how big he is!
